Seven hours of
Rock and Hip-Hop with a positive message
Concert to rock your world
CALGARY, AB – This summer, the Billy
Graham Evangelistic Association brings Rock the River
Tour to Western Canada. The first-ever Rock the River
Tour attracted tens of thousands of people last year
when it debuted in the U.S. with a series of day-long
concerts along the Mississippi River. Packed with
positive messages and music from some of Christian
music’s top hard rock and hip-hop bands, Rock the River
Tour West arrives in Calgary on Aug. 21.
"For so many young people their
lives are upside down and in a mess and they don’t even
know why," said Franklin Graham, president and CEO of
the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and
international relief organization Samaritan’s Purse.
"That’s why I’m so excited to have this opportunity to
share the message of God’s love with all of these young
people. It’s a chance to change thousands of lives."

Rock the River Tour West
is an evangelistic summer concert series that
features seven hours of high-voltage music plus
brief, challenging messages by Franklin Graham.
These one-day events will rock their way across
Western Canada through Fraser Valley (Aug. 7),
Calgary (Aug. 21) and Edmonton (Aug. 28). |
PRAYER is key to an effective
evangelistic outreach at COP on August 21. All within
hearing range of the Good News at the event need your
prayers. A ministry of this magnitude is dependent on
the prayer and involvement of thousands of committed
people. It is a process that will bring hope, strength
and encouragement to local churches, bringing youth to
Christ and incorporating them into local churches.
40 Days of Prayer (July 12-August
20) has already begun for the Next Generation and Rock
the River Tour West – Calgary.
To receive the entire 40 Days of
